Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 July 2026 · Beta

These terms are provided as a working draft for the Polymeet closed beta. They will be reviewed by legal counsel before public launch. Consult a lawyer in your jurisdiction before relying on this document.

1. Who can use Polymeet

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement in your country of residence. Providing false information about your age or identity will result in immediate account termination.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the information on your profile and for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential. You must not impersonate any person or share your account. Polymeet may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or community standards.

3. Acceptable use

You will not harass, threaten, defraud, or discriminate against other members. You will not upload sexually explicit content of minors, hate speech, or content you do not have the right to share. You will not solicit money, exchange sexual services for compensation, or use Polymeet for any commercial purpose without our written consent.

4. Relationships and consent

Polymeet supports singles and people in consensual polygamous or non-monogamous arrangements. All interactions must be based on informed consent by adults. Deception about your existing relationships is a violation of these terms.

5. Content you post

You retain ownership of the photos, voice notes, and text you upload. By posting, you grant Polymeet a non-exclusive license to store and display that content to enable the service. You can delete your content and account at any time from Settings.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Paid membership tiers (Premium, Elite) are billed via the payment method you choose. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Payments are not enabled during the closed beta.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, community guidelines, or applicable law.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Polymeet does not conduct criminal background checks on members. We provide identity verification tools and safety features but cannot guarantee the conduct of other members. Meet in public, share plans with someone you trust, and use the report and block tools if something feels wrong. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polymeet is provided "as is" and our liability is limited to fees you have paid in the previous twelve months.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nairobi unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
